The Balt Harpon is very similar to the Boston scientific T fastener that is now no longer available in Europe. It essentially consists of a hollow needle with the T bar and thread. The T fastener is held in place by crimping the aluminium tube on the thread on top of the plastic disc and sponge. The kit contains 3 T fasteners unlike the Boston which had 4.
