The Sliding Hip Screw system from the Orthopaedic Implant Company is a generic hip screw system which is compatible with the instrumentation of existing systems. It features dynamic compression holes, and a range of plate and lag screw angles from 135 to 145 degrees. Other features include 4.5mm stainless steel self-tapping cortex screws, a 12.5 mm lag screw for osteoporotic patients and a 36mm compression screw for intra-operative compression.
