The Apifix system is a minimally invasive scoliosis correction system indicated for the treatment of Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis, classified as Lenke Type 1 or 5, and with a Cobb angle from 35 to 55 degrees. 

The system includes an internal ratchet which maintains curve correction achieved with physiotherapy postoperatively. Once the deformity is corrected, the system can be locked in the corrected position. 

The device received a CE mark in November 2012.
