This is a very simple device that really helps with arm position for left radial procedures. These may be challenging from an operator comfort point of view, especially with obese patients and short operators.
The commonest approach to this problem is to support the patient\'s left arm on a pillow or roll so that the left wrist is over the left groin, but during longer procedures, the left arm tends to drfit away back to the patients side. The sling is easy to apply and gently holds the arm in the desired position so that the operator has easy access to the sheath throughout the procedure.
