I'm a senior resident in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, currently based in Umea University Hospital, Sweden.
This IS my new best friend, a competent portable echo-device, the size of my first (1st generation) IPOD, not counting the rat's tail with the probe. I get better pictures with this than with my 100+ kilogrammes Sequoia, and it doesn't break my back to carry around to the O.R., the I.C.U. or to the Emergency Department.
For transthoracal echocardiography, FAST exams in trauma and for helping me find those elusive bloodvessels this is not a bad bet.
Nice :) I only wish it could play my mp3:s
