Make sure you know the dead space of the catheter you are using. Filling this space with the correct volume of dmso is critical to prevent catheter blockage.

Onyx is a very usfule tool when embolization is requiered in large as small vessels. It can be controlled and visuelized as injected under angiography. Its full potential remains to be explored. Its price is still very high.
