Great system but it could be much better:
1) T-fasteners are rigid and have sharp corners (as compared to Cook T-fasteners that have flexible tips). As a result, they cause more pain, even if loosely applied.
2) Absorbable sutures for T-fasteners are a great idea but unfortunately these take many weeks to resorb so we are still left bringing patients back to cut them at 2-3 weeks.
3) I would prefer serial dilators over the telescopic system - I find it awkward.

T fasters are great. Kit guidewire is flimsy and I tend to use a superstiff guidewire. The Serial dilators do not always slide in easily (operator dependant, as more experienced operators are not mentioning this problem).

I find this kit to be difficult to use. It is slippery and difficult to advance each dilator upon each other. The T-Fasteners (Saf-T Pexy) are the best on the market and work well. I use this kit for de novo GJ tubes.

Very simple gastropexy sutures and a neat co-axial dilator system. You can use between two, three or four to acheive gastropexy. Two cautions:

1. The suture on the t-fasteners can be very easily snapped so take care not to over tension them.
2. The dilator isn't very radio-opaque and I prefer to have the reassurance of a longer guidewire directed into the duodenum to insure against inserting it too far. As Hula says, the stock wire is fairly flimsy anyway.

Done over 200 RIGs with these know and could not imagine going back.
The set contains 4 preloaded T-fasteners (3 are sufficient for a 12 Fr. Tube) with dissolvable sutures and easy-to-use external fixator buttons. Those have a little lever, easily closed with the enclosed forceps. No more fancy needlestick work with the Cope set or asking for pliers to crimp the Mueller-Browns/Harpons.
And if the sutures get forgotten, they do not go septic, they dissolve.

Note: they are easily applied to tightly, particularly if the stomach is well distended and relaxed with Buscopan. Apply no traction when fastening the button, just rest it snug on the skin.

The stepped telescopic dilator finishes with a peel-away sheath, oversized to accommodate the relevant balloon tube (nominal tube size+4Fr.). However the guide wire in the set is a little flimsy for it - use gently.

The first purpose built set for direct percutaneous gastrostomy and it shaves about 5 min of the procedure.

Just inserted a vygon button using this introducer kit. The T fasteners are very simple to use and can actually be clamped with your fingers and you dont neccessarily need forceps to do this. The dilators are also easy sliding one over the other.
