Safe-T Pexy gastropexy insertion
Added 26 October 2011

A short demonstration of gastropexy using the safe-T pexy gastropexy kit. This is designed to make gastropexy easy and safe, minimising the risk of sharp injury. The sutures are desolvable making manual removal unnescessary however in our practice we tend to cut them at 48hrs. The skin surface disks also have the advantage of not absorbing blood and are probably less likely to get infected as a result. Dr Phil Haslam, Consultant Interventional Radiologist, Freeman Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne. Dr Rob Allison, Interventional Fellow, Freeman Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne.
