Following CE Mark approval, the Zenith Low Profile AAA Endovascular Graft (Zenith AAA LP) from Cook Medical became available to clinicians in the EU.

According to a 2010 news release from the manufacturer, the device has a low-profile delivery system diameter of 16F and simplified deployment for precise delivery of the device to the required position in a patient's aorta. Cook Medical describes the device as 'a breakthrough for surgeons treating patients with difficult or tortuous arterial access who might otherwise have been ineligible for EVAR'.

Cook Medical has continued to offer the existing Zenith Flex AAA endograft system in order to offer clinicians a choice of EVAR system, best-suited to the needs of individual patients.
