Videos | Percutaneous nephro-lithotomy (PCNL) | Which Medical Device
This video demonstrates our technique for PCNL. We use metal dilators (Storz) as they are re-usable, easy, relatively atraumatic and most importantly allow dilatation all the way up to a staghorn calculus. The nephromax balloon is a good alternative but not really to be used for staghorns.
