Description

From Which Medical Device

The GORE VIABIL Biliary Endoprothethis offers an alternative for treating biliary malignancy. It can be placed percutaneously or endoscopically in the biliary tract, and features a nonporous ePTFE/FEP liner. The endoprothethis's flexible nitinol stent is claimed to have a higher radial or 'hoop' strength at body temperature than typical metallic binary stents.
