From Which Medical Device

These are polyethylene glycol (PEG) embolisation microspheres that can be loaded with a variety of chemotherapeutic drugs:

doxorubicin, irinotecan, idarubicin and epirubicin.

Terumo claim enhanced suspension characteristics and tight calibration of size.

They can absorb the following:

37.5 mg of Doxorubicin per 1 ml of LifePearl® microspheres
5mg of Idarubicin per 1ml of LifePearl® microspheres
25mg of Epirubicin per 1ml of LifePearl® microspheres
50.0 mg of Irinotecan per 1 ml of LifePearl® microspheres
