A Canadian series has reported very negative results and this prosthesis is no longer used in Canada. In addition an FDA trial on the Mobility has been halted, with no information to the public as to why

I have used Mobility Total ANkle Replacement (TAR) since March 2006.
We have 256 TAR performed.
We have found that Mobility TAR Implant is suitable for straight forward as well as sever Varus or Valgus deformity ankles.
We have 87% satisfaction rate in our series regrading pain, function and improvement in activities of daily living.
