This short video shows ablation of a small renal transplant RCC. This is the same patient who had the 'open microwave ablation'. This tumour lies in the anterior hilar lip and is immediately adjacent to a branch of the renal artery. The ablation took under 10 minutes from start to finish with approx 30 minutes of CT time. This would not have been achievable with cryotherapy in this time. I initially aimed for 60 seconds then extended this out to 100 seconds followed by track ablation.
