We tried the mynx control device for three months in our lab and kept having to go back out and hold groins. It was a price play, but the time we had to spend on extra hold time, pressing out hematomas, increased turnover time and patient discomfort was not worth it. Also had two patients go to ER later in the day when mynx gave way to bleeding and hematomas. Got angioseal back in and things are fine again.
