I used a 6 x 30mm Solitaire to bridge the base of an hepatic artery pseudoaneurysm and held the stent in place until several Axium detachable coils had been inserted via a second microcatheter.

The patient had tortuous iliacs / AAA repair so previous attempts to bridge this aneurysm with 4 & 5F systems as a prelude to covered stent insertion had failed.

The Solitaire tracked very nicely through a microcatheter, was easy to deploy and re-positioned without a problem. the very dense end-markers on the stent were essential as the stent framework was virtually invisible with good Siemens angio-fluoro. After coiling the stent detached with good control.
