This inflation device comes with a (manual) "O" ring, torque device and a three way tap. It requires extension tubing to allow connection to the contrast syringe. Performance: This is an easy to use device with a yellow, easily visible "trigger" button that allows easy inflation and deflation. The mechanism is very tactile and has good "feedback" in my opinion. It is intuitive to hold and to use and requires minimal training: consultants, trainees and assistant nurses were able to handle the device without trouble. The maximum inflation pressure is 30 atmospheres and able to deal with a majority of semi compliant and non compliant balloons. For some of the newer non compliant balloons requiring higher pressures, this device would be unsuitable.

The distributor could improve the desirability of this product by ensuring it came with a haemostatic “O” ring and extension tubing.

Overall this is as good a product as its competitors on the market and will need to compete with them on price.
