This tight ureteric stricture required a micro wire (Meister 0.018") and microcatheter to cross. This was then upsized to a 0.035" system to allow balloon dilatation (presumed ischaemic stricture) and stenting. It is very unusual to need a 0.018" systemt to cross ureteric strictures, but it can be very useful.
