This video shows how to perform bilateral nephrostomy and antegrade stent insertion in a patient with probable bladder TCC and bilateral obstruction. The procedure is mostly pain free but patients do experience discomfort with anything place in the bladder. It is virtually routine to give fentanyl at this point unless there are contraindications.
