Description

From Which Medical Device

The NeuroTube from Synovis is an absorbable woven Polyglycolic Acid (PGA) mesh tube for the repair of peripheral nerves in which the nerve gap is >=8mm, but less than 3cm. The device was the first biodegradable nerve conduit cleared for use in the US and EU.

The corrugated walls resist kinking and the implant is absorbed at between 6 to 8 months.
