Description

From Which Medical Device

This is a low profile internal/external drain designed for more long term biliary drainage for example when placed across a chronic biliary stricture.

This sort of device is easier to maintain for the patient and more comfortable than traditional drainage catheters.

The proximal portion without drainage holes comes in variable lengths.

The low profile end can connect to a right angled adaptor tube to allow drainage if needed, other wise it is covered with a push fit cap.
