Description

From Which Medical Device

The OASYS System from Stryker is a spinal instrumentation system designed for treatment of pathologies of the occipito-cervical junction, the cervical spine and the upper thoracic spine. This is a modular system which comprises hooks, plates and bone screws.

Advantages of this system include high degree screw angulation, optimal axial alignment, easy construct assembly and reduced cross threading.

The OASYS Midline Occiput Plate was recalled in May 2013 following reports of a fracture of the implant.
