Join Our Search for the Best Medical Devices of 2013!

At Which Medical Device, we have begun our annual search for the medical devices that have most impressed clinicians across the world during 2013. Our editors will be giving away a new Kindle Fire HD, for the 'best reason for nomination' (T&Cs apply).

We are seeking nominations in the categories of Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, Orthopaedics and Anaesthesia & Critical Care. Each submission will be discussed by our Editors-in-Chief and elected panel members who will determine which devices are most deserving of an accolade.

Many of the devices that have received CE and/or FDA approval this year can be found on whichmedicaldevice.com where clinicians have begun to add comments about their experience of using the products.

We saw several inspiring products at CIRSE in September. Phenox, for example, demonstrated the P64 flow modulation device and Covidien provided an elegant demonstration of their new microwave ablation device. Most recently, we focused on the benefits that the Google Glass can provide to Interventional Radiologists, in particular.

As our 2012 and previous Award winners demonstrate, it's not just new devices that are nominated but also the more established and widely deployed products that clinicians tell us are their top devices.

Making a nomination takes just a few minutes to do. Please click this link to our short questionnaire where you can name a device and provide a short supportive statement for your choice.

Nominations close on Friday, 31 January. The Award winning devices will be announced on whichmedicaldevice.com soon afterwards.
