The new Aprima Access Nonvascular Introducer Set is the first device in Cook Medical's Aprima drainage portfolio. The set can be used for single-puncture percutaneous access to facilitate placement of a working wire guide for IR procedures.
Key to its performance is the design of the sheath and introducer. A Transitionless-Tip aims to assist interventional radiologists streamline access and reduce the risk of patient trauma by substantially lowering any major resistance that could make insertion difficult.
