Reuters reports that Lombard Medical Technologies has won FDA approval for its Aorfix AAA Stent Graft System.
The device is designed to treat abdominal aortic aneurysm disease in patients with angulations at the neck of the aneurysm, up to 90 degrees. The alternative to endovascular repair is major surgery.
