DePuy Synthes New MatrixRIB System for Rib Fracture Repair

Medgadget reports that DePuy Synthes, a J&J firm, has released the MatrixRIB System, a new set of of instruments and plates for fixing fractured ribs.

The pre-shaped titanium plates are made slim for easier implantation and the instruments include a trocar, Threaded Reduction Tool (TRT) with self-drilling tip, and a 90 degree screwdriver capable of drilling as well.
