This 61 year old patient was stented as part of ACST 2.
Doppler had shown a left sided stenosis of 50-79% at the origin of the ICA.
MRI had demonstrated a lacunar infarct in the left caudate nucleus and a stenosis of at least 70% in the left ICA with significant stenosis in the mid left vertebral artery.
This video demonstrates stenting of this lesion using the EV3 protege stent and the EV3 spider FX filter.
