The HemiCAP Toe Resurfacing System from Arthrosurface is a hemiarthroplasty for osteoarthritis of the first metatarsophalangeal joint (MTPJ). It comprises a cobalt-chrome (Co-Cr-Mo) articular resurfacing component and a titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) cancellous taper post component, which are mated via a taper locking mechanism.
