We have been using this balloon extensively in rAAA and it works. There are some problems, mainely with the size of introducer (16Fr recommanded but we use 11Fr). Another issue is that it does not have an angio-entry for contrast imaging.
The balloon is usefule also in trauma (Aortic Balloon Occlusion ABO), but again there are severe limitations due to the introdcuer size.
