From Which Medical Device

Subchondroplasty is a procedure designed to address defects in the subchondral bone associated with bone marrow oedema and microfracture and which are thought to lead to osteoarthritis. The procedure involves the injection of these defects with bone substitute using a fluoroscopic navigation device. Knee Creations use the AccuFill bone substitute.

The company was acquired by Zimmer in 2013.

A clinical trial is ongoing.
