The Solero Microwave Tissue Ablation System is a system designed to rapidly ablate soft tissue during open or percutaneous procedures. It uses a solid state generator and specially designed applicator to complete up to a 5 cm ablation in 6 minutes at max power output. The system includes a 2.45 GHz operating frequency generator with a touch screen user interface and an integrated peristaltic pump. It is available in 14, 19, and 29 cm lengths with a stainless steel applicator and dielectric antenna with a ceramic tip. The system also includes a patented coolant channel with a thermocouple and a 2.86 m (9.3 ft) flexible, fully cooled cable.
