This video shows our first attempt to insert the Split Stream catheter from Medcomp, a variation on the Ash split catheter. The advantage of this catheter is that the tip can be accurately placed prior to tunneling. The catheter connectors can also be replaced if damaged similar to the Tessio catheter.

In this video the catheter was placed through a peelaway sheath, but it can also be placed over the wire without the use of the sheath.

Placement seems pretty simple. The attachment of the connectors is in fact a lot simpler than the IFU implies.
