This video demonstrates microwave ablation of a small renal tumour using the Acculis Microwave Tissue Ablation (MTA) system by Microsulis.

The procedure is identical to RF ablation but quicker.

In our limited experience with the device it also appears to less painful.

Which is best, microwave or RFA?
We think there may be less pain with microwave, presumably because it is so rapid. Has anyone else found this?
