This is a flexible solution for acetabular resections or complex revisions. The cone is the basis of the reconstruction, but the cement and threaded pins around it improve the stability and allow elution of antibiotics. You can tuck the edge of the trevira tube around the acetabular component which you cement in place to hold it in. A very good piece of kit.
