Description

From Which Medical Device

The VLP Foot system from Smith and Nephew is a system of stainless steel plates for the foot and ankle, which include quarter and one-third tubular, fusion, multi-fragment and compression plates. The plates are intended for a range of indications including metatarsal fracture and osteotomies, and mid and hind-foot fusions.

The variable-angle locking screw can be placed at up to 15 degrees off centre in any direction. Screw options include cortical, locking, and osteopenia screws. The latter have a larger outer diameter than standard screws, whilst retaining the same inner diameter.
