The CPT hip stem from Zimmer is a collarless, polished, double taper hip stem.

Date released: First clinical use in 1990.

Material: Cobalt-chromium alloy.

Surface: Polished cobalt-chrome.

Geometry: Double taper design. Extended and extra-extended options are available. Long stem components are available in seven sizes.


Outcomes         

·         UK ODEP rating 2010: 10A

·         NJR England and Wales 2010. 5 year survival 97.5% (range 97% to 97.9%)(Market share 10%)
